The Victoria and Albert Museum, 10.30 – 13.00
This visit is now FULLY BOOKED

Visit the V&A Museum’s Renier collection of historic children’s books and the Beatrix Potter collections, introduced by the Frederick Warne Curator of Children’s Books.

Maximum: 20 delegates.
Meet at Imperial College

Cost: free, but delegates will be responsible for the cost of their own transport to and from the Collection at Olympia.


The British Library, 10.30 – 13.00
This visit is now FULLY BOOKED

Visit the British Library for a brief introductory tour, followed by a session about the children's books collections (including a chance to see some selected items) and a presentation/discussion about the library’s work with primary, secondary and family groups.

Maximum: 15 delegates.
Meet at Imperial College

Cost: free, but delegates will be responsible for the cost of their own transport to and from the Library.

 

Summer Reading Challenge visit to Paddington Library, 10.00 – 12.00

Visit to a London Borough of Westminster specialist children’s library to discuss the national Summer Reading Challenge programme and observe events in one library.

Maximum: 20 delegates
Meet at Imperial College

Cost: free, but delegates will be responsible for the cost of their own transport to and from the library.

 

Maximum transport cost for all visits should be no more than £8.60
